Police have captured a suspect in reference to one of those homicides that occurred over the weekend.
According to police, around 11:40 a.m. Sunday, officers from the Flying Squad Unit went into the Hanna Road area where they arrested a 32-year-old man for questioning in reference to a murder that occurred early Sunday morning.
Twenty-two-year-old Charles Davis alias Siddam was killed early Sunday morning.
According to police, Davis was walking on Johnson Alley off Wulff Road when four men in a silver Honda Accord drove through the corner.
One of the men exited the vehicle and discharged several shots at Davis striking him multiple times about the body.
According to family members, Davis was shot eight times.
EMS personnel responded to the scene and transported Davis to the Princess Margaret Hospital where he died a short time later.
