A Lincoln Boulevard storeowner on Monday shot and killed a man who police said was attempting to rob his establishment.

Police officials said the incident around 12:30 p.m. yesterday.

Details remained sketchy up to press time but according to reports a man was taken to the Princess Margaret Hospital around 2:00 p.m. suffering from gunshot wounds about the body.

Police also reported that a man was taken into custody in connection with this matter.
