This Tuesday, 24th September, Radio LOVE 97 FM celebrated its 30th
Anniversary of broadcasting. Launched in 1994, LOVE 97 and the Jones
Communications Network have become a leading media organization in The
Bahamas. Earlier this month, on 12th September, The Bahama Journal
celebrated 37 years of publishing. Making remarks, the company’s Chief
Executive Officer, Ms. Kimaley Jones said, “we renew our commitment to not
only strive for technical excellence, but also for fairness, decency and
objectivity in the presentation of all of our programs. We will continue to be
a watchdog for the masses. As Journalists, have a moral responsibility to
our nation.” She continued, “I would like to thank our members of staff for
their hard work and dedication. We are also grateful to our readers, viewers,
listeners, advertisers and supporters.”
