Police in Bimini are investigating the death of a Jamaican national who died on board an aircraft en route to Bimini from New Providence to Bimini Saturday

Reports are that shortly after 4:00pm, police received information that a male had died on board an airline that had left New Providence travelling into Bimini.

Upon landing at the Bimini International Airport officers of the Bimini District responded and also a doctor from the Bimini Clinic who pronounced the male dead.

Investigations are continuing.
