Another parent was charged yesterday with assaulting a school official.
Just two weeks ago, a Grand Bahama parent was charged with assault after she allegedly slapped the high school’s principal.
Yesterday, Angela Smith pleaded not guilty and denied that she had attacked an Anatol Rodgers teacher last Tuesday.
Smith was arraigned on one count of assault as it is alleged that after school that day, she beat up the teacher of her special needs child.
That same day she filed a counter complaint against the teacher, claiming she was the victim and was released from custody on a $1,000 bail.
However, in court yesterday the magistrate revoked that bail and ordered that the amount be increased to $3,000.
The case will head back to court on December 11th.
