The Nassau Airport Developement Company’s (NAD) is moving ahead with plans for and on-site hotel at the Lynden Pindling International Airport. 

NAD has issued a request for proposals outlining submission guidelines to prospective proponents.

According to NAD, the successful proponent will design, finance, construct and operate a three star or more hotel that should meet the needs of both domestice and international travelers. 

The proposed site for the project is 4.68 acres of vacant land, just northeast of the current U.S. Departure terminal building.

Potential proponenets are required to register for a mandatory pre-submission meeting and site visit. 

Participants have the option of registering for the meeting on either Thursday February 21, 2019 or Friday February 22, 2019. Final proposal submissions will be due on Friday May 24, 2019.
