Police have released the identities of two of the country’s most recent murder victims.

The man stabbed to death through Jackfish Drive off Carmichael Road has been identified as Elkin Moss of Jackfish Drive.

According to police, around 5:12 a.m. Sunday, Moss was at his home when he reportedly got into an altercation with another man, which resulted in both people being stabbed multiple times.

The 36-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene; however, the 52-year-old Allen Drive resident was arrested and taken to hospital, after he reportedly collided into, two vehicles in the area of West Avenue and Carmichael Road.

The suspect was taken to hospital where he remains in serious but stable condition.

Also the man shot and killed on Monday has been identified as 39-year-old Tarack Stuart of Balls Alley.

According to reports, around 2:55 a.m. Stuart was at a club on Bay and Armstrong Streets, when he reportedly got into an altercation with a group of people and was subsequently shot multiple times.

Stuart was taken to hospital via private vehicle where he was pronounced dead.

Police are investigating all matters and are appealing to residents who may have any information that can assist with their investigations, to contact them anonymously.
