The unclothed male body found in the abandoned building behind the Bahamas Public Service Union (BPSU) on Monday has been identified as 45-year-old Linsey Walkine of Johnson Estates.
Walkine was found by persons assisting with the renovation of the building when one of the men went to the rear of the building for an inspection.
During the inspection, the individual noticed a male body lying on a box spring in the west room.
Foul play was inspected as there were bruises about the body.
Investigations are ongoing.

A 42-year old-male of Grand Bahama was arraigned before Magistrate Renkin Johnson in Court number three on Monday.
The accused identified as Leon Romeo Rahming of Melbourne Crest, Hudson Estates was arraigned on attempted murder and armed robbery charges.
He was not required to enter a plea, and a preliminary inquiry into these matters will be held sometime in August.
Johnson was remanded to the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services in New Providence until trial.
