Murder suspect 28-year-old Amal Hunter who also goes by the name “Bow” was arrested early Saturday morning, according to police officials.
Police said they arrested Hunter in the Carmichael Road area, without incident.
Hunter was wanted for the murder of Carlos Colebrooke, who was killed just over a week ago.
He is actually the second man wanted for Colebrooke’s death.
Last Thursday, a 25-year-old murder suspect was in hospital under heavy police guard after being shot by officers during his arrest.
The Pinewood Gardens resident is also believed to be involved in Colebrooke’s murder.
Twenty-five-year-old Colebrooke – a suspected gang leader – was among a group of three people shot on March 15 along Marrow
Lane off East Street south while in his champagne Honda Accord.
He died at the scene.
Hunter is expected to be arraigned in a court sometime this week.
