A man who was shot to death off Montrose Avenue Saturday is the country’s 25th murder victim.

Police said the victim, who has not yet been identified, was found dead at 2:00 a.m. on Peach Street.

The man, who is Caucasian, had a gunshot wound to the upper body.

More than a week ago a man was shot to death and his car was set on fire through Lily of The Valley Corner.
It was only after firefighters extinguished the blaze that they found the victim’s badly burnt body.
