Police in Exuma are investigating a traffic accident that left a man dead on Saturday.

According to reports, around 6:00pm, a collision occurred on Queens Highway, George Town, Exuma involving a Suzuki Solio motorcar driven by an adult male and a Mack truck driven by an adult male.

The driver of the motorcar received serious injuries and was pronounced dead on the scene by the island’s local doctor.

Officers from the Traffic Department in New Providence travelled to Exuma assist in their investigations.
