Man’s Death Pushes Murder Count To 60

The country’s murder reached 60 after a man was found dead outside a nightclub early Saturday morning.

 According to police reports, it was shortly after 6:00 a.m., police were altered to reports of the lifeless body of a male in the parking lot next to Crazy Moon Strip Club on Elizabeth Ave.

 “On examination of the body, it appears to have injuries to the body. He appeared to be in his late to mid-40s. We have no motive at this time. All we know is that we got the information, responded and found the body,” Chief Superintendent of Police Clayton Fernander said.

 According to reliable sources the man has been identified as Rozario Palacious.

 On Saturday afternoon, Commissioner of Police Ellison Greenslade ordered that the Crazy Moon Strip Club be shut down as he said the club is an active crime scene.

 After investigations, officers found that the crime scene may have taken place in the nightclub, however Palacious was moved afterwards to the parking lot.

 Chief Superintendent Fernander said Palacious’ body was not in the parking lot for very long according to preliminary investigations.

 Officers are asking anyone who may have information in this matter to come forward with any information that may be vital to the case.

 “We are appealing to members of the public, anyone who may have been in this area or saw anything to please come forward and assist the police in trying to bring closure to this matter,” he said.
