A 33-year-old man and two 17-year-old boys are in custody after police found a quantity of marijuana in their possession on Friday.

According to reports, around 5:00 p.m., a team of officers from the Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) acting on intelligence executed a search warrant at a Palm Beach Street home where they found seven pounds of marijuana with an estimated street value of $7,000.

All three were taken into custody and are expected to appear in court early this week to face drug related charges.

Just last Thursday, six people – four men and two women – were arrested following a $512,000 drug bust in southern New Providence.

Investigations continue into both matters.
