Police are investigating an attempted murder that occurred in the East Bay Street area.
According to police officials, Mckenson Dorvil went to the residence of his former fiancé where he encountered another man.
It is alleged that Dorvil flew into a rage and chopped a 39-year -old man of Virginia Street to the neck, back and arm before fleeing the scene.
Police are currently looking for information into the whereabouts of Dorvil.
Police Make Drug Seizure
Flying squad officers acting on intelligence were also able to seize another large quantity of drugs.
Reports are that officers acting intelligence went to the Durham Street area around 10:00p.m. where they searched a yard and uncovered a package with a large amount of smaller packages that contained marijuana.
The drugs were turned over to the Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) where investigations will continue to determine how the drugs got there.
On Harbour Island, police also made a drug arrest of a 25-year-old man of Palmetto Point.
The man was on bail for a serious offense and was being electronically monitored.
The man however was tracked in Harbour Island where he was found with a 21-year-old man of Governor’s Harbour, Eleuthera where they were apprehended.
The men were found in possession of a large amount of US cash and a quantity of marijuana.
Three men, two from Grand Bahama and one from Abaco were also arrested on Tuesday in separate drug arrests.
