A shooting incident in the Fox Hill area on Saturday night has left one man dead.
According to police, shortly before 9 p.m., a man had just pulled up in his vehicle to a home located on Johnson Terrace and upon exiting his vehicle he was shot.
The man was pronounced dead on the scene.
While the police have not released the man’s identity The Bahama Journal understands the name of the deceased is Aquino Huyler, also known as “Kidd.”
This is the 72nd homicide for the year
Investigations are ongoing and police are asking members of the public to come forth with any information of this incident.

Police are also investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man found dead with injuries shortly after 4 a.m. on Saturday on a road off Taylor Street, Nassau Village.
An autopsy will be performed to determine the exact cause of death.
