A man was shot while attending a funeral repast Saturday evening in the Sutton Street area off Kemp Road.

According to reports, sometime around 7:15 p.m. officers were called to the scene after reports of gunshots being discharged.

Upon their arrival in the area the officers discovered a 22-year-old male resident of Williams Land suffering from gunshot injuries.

He was transported to Princess Margaret Hospital; his injuries have been listed as non-life threatening.

Sometime around 1:40 a.m. on Sunday, officers intercepted a small white Nissan vehicle and took into custody three Romanian nationals ages 30 and 32 and 40..
