Police in the capital are trying to determine the circumstances surrounding a stabbing incident that left one man in hospital.
According to reports, shortly after 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, a man was involved in an argument with a man known to him.
That man was stabbed to the upper body before the suspect fled on foot.
The man was transported to hospital where he is listed as in serious condition.
Investigations into the matter are underway.

Armed Robbery
According to police, shortly before 1 a.m. yesterday morning, two men armed with a handgun robbed a small business establishment on Gibbs Corner of a small amount of cash and a cell phone before fleeing on foot.
Police are appealing to the general public for anyone with information to contact the nearest police station.
Two Stolen Vehicles Recovered and Nine Suspects Arrested
Police in New Providence reported the recovery of two vehicles that are believed to be stolen and the arrest of nine persons for various criminal offences including possession of dangerous drugs, firearms, causing harm and stealing vehicles during the crime suppression operation conducted by the Flying Squad Unit over the weekend.
During that operation two adult males, one from Nassau Village and the other from Sandilands Village, were arrested after police found them in possession of two Honda Accord vehicles suspected of being stolen.
The operation which is consistent with the commissioner’s 2015 policing priorities, targeted persons involved in criminal activities such as drugs and firearms, persons wanted for various criminal offences, prolific offenders, persons wanted for outstanding court warrants and motorists operating in breach of the traffic laws.
