A man was charged in court yesterday with murdering his girlfriend’s two-year-old son.
Tion Morley was fatally beaten on August 16.
Sources tell The Bahama Journal that he was beaten with a frying pan.
On Thursday, Trevor Carey, 22, appeared before Acting Chief Magistrate Joyann Ferguson-Pratt.
He was not required to enter a plea to the charge and was remanded to Her Majesty’s Prisons (HMP) until November 18 when his case will be fast tracked to the Supreme Court via a voluntary bill of indictment.
Morely was the country’s 70th homicide victim.
Carey did not have an attorney present.
