A 27-year-old Grand Bahama man is expected to be charged in court with a hit-and-run.

The man, who was driving a maroon van, crashed into a 16-year-old pedestrian and allegedly fled the scene before police arrived.

The incident happened on September 28 at 3:30 p.m. in the Ponce de Leon Drive area.

The pedestrian, who was injured, was taken to the Rand Memorial Hospital.
