A 21-year-old man was arraigned yesterday for a murder that occurred last year.
Kevin Rolle, a resident of Kingston Street, appeared before Chief Magistrate Joyann Ferguson-Pratt and was not required to enter a plea to the murder charge.
Police believe Rolle is the man behind the August 10, 2013 murder of Javin McKenzie.
McKenzie was shot multiple times while through White’s Addition off Kemp Road.
Rolle has been remanded to Her Majesty’s Prisons (HMP) until March 26 where it is expected that he will be presented with a voluntary bill of indictment.
Rolle did not have an attorney.
