Police officials reported another Family Island traffic fatality, the second in as many days.

The accident reportedly occurred around 10:30 a.m. on Queen’s Highway, Salt Pond, Long Island between a dump truck and a small pickup truck.

Officials said the driver of that small pickup truck who was a resident from Thompson Bay, Long Island was pronounced dead at the scene.

A team of officers from traffic department in the capital travelled to Long Island to assist with investigations there.

The traffic fatality follows the death of a 19-year-old man who met a similar fate on Saturday in James Cistern, Eleuthera.
