Two people were shot late last night, police have confirmed.

Press Liaison Officer, Inspector Chrislyn Skippings told The Journal that the shootings happened on Miami street and Cordeaux Avenue.

Details were sketchy up to press time, but The Journal understands that one of the shooting victims was critical.

Both were taken to the Princess Margaret Hospital (PMH).
