The trial involving three men accused of robbing a popular Bay Street store was delayed again after a piece of evidence was in dispute.
Back on May 22, 2011 police alleged that Jasper Curry, David Collins and Jonathon Armbrister., armed with high-powered guns, held up the John Bull store on Bay Street.
Yesterday, the prosecution tried to have a policeman present a compact disc with images from the robbery.
The defence objected, however, on the basis that it was new evidence that their clients did not get a chance to mount a defence in reference to the images.
At the time of the robbery, police said the trio smashed the glass counter with a hammer and helped themselves to approximately 15 watches valued around $60,000 each.
But, according to court dockets the trio managed to get away with 12 watches totalling $395,360.
Attorney Sandra Dee Gardiner appeared on behalf of the Attorney General’s Office.
The defendants are represented by Geoffrey Farquharson, Jerone Roberts and Jomo Campbell.
Justice Indra Charles is presiding over the matter.
The trial is expected to continue on Thursday.
