Three men were arraigned yesterday in connection with the seizure of more than 50 pounds of marijuana on Friday.
Kendrick Tinker, 35, Elvardo Farrington, 34, and Devon Rolle, 28, appeared before Magistrate Andrew Forbes where they faced charges of possession of dangerous drugs with the intent to supply and conspiracy to possess dangerous drugs with the intent to supply.
The men were arrested Friday after they were observed at the Potter’s Cay Dock collecting packages from a mail boat.
Mobile officers found that the packages contained an estimated $50,000 worth of marijuana.
The men all pleaded not guilty to the charges.
Tinker alone faced a separate charge of possession of forged currency notes.
He was found with 33 United States $20 bank notes with the same serial number.
He also pleaded not guilty to that charge.
They were all denied bail and remanded to prison until June 5.
