Grand Bahama police apprehended several illegal immigrants into custody on Wednesday.
Reports indicate that around 12:43 a.m., officers from the West End Police Station, while patrolling in the area of Bahama Beach, observed a 2003 green Dodge Caravan.
The vehicle was intercepted and brought to a stop where officers found four male illegal immigrants, all natives of Bangladesh.
Police said the immigrants all appeared to be in good health and were later handed over to Bahamas Immigration authorities.
The driver of the vehicle is a 30-year-old male resident of Victoria Avenue, New Providence.
He was arrested and handed over to officers of the Central Detective Unit (CDU).
Police are continuing the investigation into this matter.
