The government is all ears when it comes to the environment.

And to prove it, Environment Minister Kenred Dorsett yesterday officially established a help desk so that the public could have a specific place they could contact concerning garbage collection and report other environmental concerns.

The minister says it’s his hope that the desk would foster better communication and accountability between the Department of Environmental Health Services and the public at large.

The help desk is not only the place to complain if there is a garbage collection issue, but problems with pests like rodents and mosquitos.
