Five men were arrested yesterday in connection with a shooting incident that occurred on Wednesday, police have said.

Police said it was shortly after midnight Wednesday that a man was talking to two men at Redland Acres off Soldier Road when he was shot to the arm.

The man was subsequently taken to hospital where he is listed in stable condition.

A short while later, officers from the flying squad arrested five men in connection with this incident.

Missing Teen
Meanwhile, police are requesting the public’s help in locating a missing teen girl.

Candia Brown, 16, of Foster Street, Chippingham was last seen around 6:00 p.m. on March 5.

She is described as having dark brown complexion, being of slim build and about five feet two inches to five feet seven inches tall.
