The 22-year-old driver of a vehicle that collided into a utility police on Exuma Tuesday afternoon has died from his injuries, police said yesterday.
Police said the man, who was a resident of Ramsey, Exuma, was traveling on Queen’s Highway in Farmer’s Hill around 1:00 p.m., Tuesday when he lost control of his white Honda Accord and crashed into the pole.
He suffered serious injuries and as a result was taken to the local clinic where his condition was listed as critical.
However, the man eventually died late Tuesday from those injuries.
A team of officers from the Police Road Traffic Department in New Providence is on Exuma investigating the incident.
