Deltec Bank Donates $25K to NEMA for Hurricane Matthew restoration

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) continues to receive outstanding support with contributions rolling in, in an effort to restore the country back to normalcy after the devastation of Hurricane Matthew.

Receiving another donation to assist in recovery and relief efforts, Deltec Bank & Trust Limited donated $25,000 to NEMA in the wake of Hurricane Matthew.

The presentation was made at the NEMA headquarters on Gladstone Road on Monday by Jean Chalopin, Chairman of Deltec International Group. On hand to accept the donation was the Hon Shane Gibson, Minister Responsible for Recovery and Reconstruction; Captain Stephen Russell Director of NEMA and Jack Thompson, Permanent Secretary.

NEMA partnered with Urban Renewal continues its recovery and restoration efforts in southeastern New Providence, Andros and Grand Bahama in the aftermath of Hurricane Matthew that left communities in those affected areas devastated.
