Breitling Boutique on Thursday launched a new watch line at its grand re-opening for its Bay Street store.
The luxury watch retailer had a grand celebration planned for its customers at the flagship store.
The store is introduced its Runway 14 Collection showcasing the new, exclusive models just launched at the Basel World watch fair this year in Switzerland.
Breitling Store Manager Nick Simmons told the Bahama Journal that the launch of the new line will help increase business at the store.
“This is a great opportunity for the company as well as its customers,” he said.
“Breitling is a top brand in the industry. They have been around for quite sometime and they have great accomplishments under their belt so it is a brand that most customers are looking to purchase these days. We have been able to open the boutique and have been successful straight through despite the economy. Our customers have remained loyal over the years.”
Mr. Simmons also said contrary to popular belief, the store has an excellent local customer base.
“We have a huge local client base and a lot of them are looking forward to the new pieces as well,” he said.
He said as long as the company maintains the standard and reputation that customers are already accustomed to, the business will continue to be successful.
The Nassau Breitling Boutique – opened initially in 2007 – was one of the first boutiques selected by Breitling to be opened in the western hemisphere under the modern and luxury concept that perfectly reflects Breitling Universe.
In the last three years, Breitling has tripled the number of its boutiques around the world, which has now reached a total of 39, including the recent openings of São Paulo, Kuwait City, Sydney and St Maarten.
Many considerations were taken to reinforce the highly professional approach of the boutiques by providing a more open, easier to navigate environment.
The boutique design concept echoes Breitling’s authentic and privileged ties with aviation as shown throughout the Boutique with the human scale pin-up inspired by Nose Art, and showcases adorned with mosaics of carved aircrafts.
