The body of former Member of Parliament Bruce Charles Braynen will lie in state in the House of Assembly starting at 9:00 a.m. today.
Braynen, a former vice president of the Senate, died last week.
He was 99.
A state recognised funeral will be held for Braynen tomorrow.
The service will be held at 11:00 a.m. at St Mary the Virgin Anglican Church on Virginia Street.
Prime Minister Perry Christie and several other top government and Opposition officials are expected to view Braynen’s body today.
Viewing for the general public will be from noon until 6:00 p.m.
