The Bahama Journal has been reliably informed that one of Baha Mar’s attorneys was recently in court and has been formally arraigned in connection with a traffic fatality that occurred on New Year’s Day.
Baha Mar’s Associate General Counsel Tracy Ann Ferguson has been charged with killing in the course of dangerous driving.
According to police reports, back on January 1 around 7:00 p.m., Ferguson was driving a blue 2005 Mercedes Benz east on John F. Kennedy Drive in a dangerous manner which caused the death of Ricardo Storr.
It is alleged that Storr was killed when his Nissan vehicle collided with Ferguson’s car near the Blake Road roundabout.
Ferguson appeared before Magistrate Sabu Swain last week and pleaded not guilty.
She opted to be tried in the Magistrate’s Court and was granted $10,000 bail with one surety.
She will return to Court No. 11 on October 16.
