Attempted Murder Sentencing Delayed

Twenty-four-year-old Charlvin Laramore will have to wait a little longer to learn his fate having been accused of the July 22nd, 2013 attempted murder of 39 year-old Torack Stuart outside a nightclub.

Appearing before Acting Supreme Court Justice Guillimina Archer-Minns, Laramore was set to be sentenced however due to the closing of court proceedings for a few days his sentencing was adjourned until September 12th, 2016.

A pathologist back in May testified that the deceased had been shot in the back twice.

Laramore denied any involvement in the shooting and contested that he ran away from the scene like many of the other club goers.

Brought into the court room shackled dressed in jeans and a green stripped shirt, Laramore seemed not unbothered and calm.

The club, Tabu Lounge, where the incident occurred, has since been closed.
