Atlantis has added a new member to its top team.
Veteran hotelier, Cristian Sariego has been appointed Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Cove Atlantis and The Reef Atlantis resorts in The Bahamas.
Mr. Sariego brings a wealth of knowledge in service and operation to his new position, having spent his life in and around the hotel industry and with over 20 years of experience in luxury hospitality.
He most recently served as general manager at the Ritz Carlton in Santiago, Chile.
Prior to that role, he was general manager of the Ritz Carlton in The Cayman Islands, where he successfully drove growth while ensuring the highest level in overall guest engagement.
Mr. Sariego has held previous senior level executive roles at Marriott Hotels and InterContinental Hotels & Resort Group.

In his new role, Mr. Sariego will be responsible for the overall day-to-day operations of Atlantis, with an emphasis on maintaining The Cove and The Reef’s high level of guest satisfaction.
He will work closely with and report directly to Paul Burke, chief operating officer for Atlantis, Paradise Island.
Mr. Sariego studied business and hospitality at Florida International University (FIU) and received his MBA from the University of Chile, with focus on international business innovation.
Mr. Sariego also participated in the Cornell University General Manager’s Hospitality program.
