Two American women have been arrested for drug possession and are expected to be arraigned in a court early this week.

A 28-year-old woman of Southbridge, Massachusetts and a 27-year-old woman of Waltham, Massachusetts are in custody after they were arrested for possession of dangerous drugs on Friday, police said.

According to reports, around 9:30 a.m., officers from the Tourism Police Unit (TPU) acting on information went onboard a cruise ship at the Prince George Dock where they arrested the two women who had a quantity of marijuana in their possession.

Police are still investigating the matter.

Sexual Assault Claim

Police are also investigating a sexual assault claim from over the weekend.

According to reports, shortly after 4:00 a.m. Saturday a woman reported to police that a man sexually assaulted her while at a resort located on West Bay Street.

A 28-year-old man is in custody assisting police with investigations into this incident
