The 25-year-old man who police said is the victim of suicide after he was found hanging on Saturday has been identified as Kelvin Strachan of Eden Street.

According to reports Strachan’s lifeless body was found around 2:30 a.m. Saturday hanging by a cord tied to a tree at Baldwin Avenue off Farrington Road.

Reports indicate that the victim’s fiancé had made a police report regarding a domestic dispute.
The father of a one, according to reports, was in turn arrested and later granted bail.

He later attempted to reconcile with his fiancé but was unsuccessful in mending the broken relationship.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigations continue.
