A part from opening three mew murder investigations from the weekend, police are also probing a number shooting and stabbing incidents that have occurred.

According to reports, just after 10:00 p.m. on Saturday a 21-year-old Nassau Village man was shot while in the Florida Court Area.

Police arrived at the scene and met the man suffering from a gunshot wound to the hand.

He was taken to hospital and is listed in stable condition.

Meanwhile two men are in hospital recovering from stab wounds after they were involved in an altercation with another man while at a party on Malcolm Road on Saturday night.

Both men are said to be in stable condition.

And another man is also nursing stab wounds.

Police said the man was attacked by a group of men while walking along Wulff Road when he was stabbed with an unknown object.

The incident happened around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday night.

The victim’s injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
