The Grand Bahama businessman shot and killed has been identified as Sedrick Hepburn.
According to authorities, the 47-year-old Lincoln Green resident was walking alongside his girlfriend shortly before 6:00pm in the Fortune Bay Drive area shortly before 6:00p.m. when he was shot multiple times about the body.
Hepburn’s companion was unharmed.

Freedom was short lived for a would-be armed robber.
Police said around 11:00am yesterday, a gunman entered a store on Guana Cay, Abaco wearing a cloth tied around his face.
One of the store’s employees reportedly recognized the gunman and a struggle ensued, resulting in the employee being struck to the head and the firearm discharging.
According to police, the suspect fled the store empty handed; however, he was arrested a short time by police in Guana Cay.
This matter is under active police investigation.
