An early morning home invasion, armed robbery and shooting in Grand Bahama left a Caucasian man dead Tuesday morning.
It is reported that the victim is a businessman on that island.
Reports are on Tuesday around 9:30 a.m., police received information that a male was fatally shot at a residence in the area.
“Around 7:00 a.m. a male reported that while at home with his family three masked men armed with a handgun and a machete entered their home and they were robbed, an altercation occurred between the assailant and one of the male residents who was shot and killed,” a police press release read.
“EMS personnel responded and the body was pronounced dead at the scene by
doctors from the Rand Memorial Hospital.”
