Less than a week after allegedly committing the crime, a 21-year-old Grand Bahama man was on Friday arraigned in connection with the shooting death of Carifta gold medalist Rimardo Rolle.
Appearing before Deputy Chief Magistrate Helen Jones was Hudson Estates resident, Javaro Davis.
Police said it was shortly before 2:00a.m., Sunday that they received information of a shooting incident at Legends Night Club on Queen’s Highway, Grand Bahama.
When officers arrived on the scene, they met Rolle suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper body
He died in hospital several hours later.
His alleged killer was not required to enter a plea to the charge.
A preliminary inquiry is expected to take place on June 3 at 10:00a.m.
Davis was represented by attorney Simeon Brown.
