Twenty-six-year-old Churchill Subdivision, Chippingham resident Richardo Brown was on Thursday arraigned in a magistrate’s court for the murder of 21-year-old Timothy Rolle last Friday.
Police said Rolle, a resident of Rock Crusher, was found with a single gunshot wound to the head after 11:15 that night.
The victim’s family said at the time that the father of one had just left home when someone he new picked him up and they left in a car.
Brown was charged for the murder today in Court #8.
He was not required to enter a plea to the charge and remanded to Her Majesty’s Prisons (HMP) until December 16 for the service of a voluntary bill of indictment (VBI).
Outside court Brown’s mother told us that the police have arrested the wrong person for this murder and said her son was with his girlfriend at the time the murder occurred.
She said in the same way the media is reporting his arraignment she wants us to also report when he “wins this case.”
Brown was not reportedly represented by an attorney.
