Police are investigating an assault complaint from a teacher of Anatol Rodgers High School who says she was attacked by a parent.
Details given were sketchy on the matter but police say it happened just after 3:00p.m.
The parent was taken into custody and has filed a counter complaint of assault against the teacher.
Just last month, a principal of Jack Hayward High School in Grand Bahama was hospitalised after she was assaulted by a parent.
Soon after 34-year-old Latoya Denise Williams was arraigned before Magistrate Debbye Ferguson where she pleaded guilty to four charges, including causing harm, disorderly behaviour, resisting arrest and causing damage.
She was sentenced to a year in prison.
Education Minister Jerome Fitzgerald says the government will not tolerate violence against teachers or administrators.
