The homicide count shot to 69 this past weekend after a man was riddled with bullets.

Police said the incident happened around 10:13p.m. Saturday in the area of Whites Addition, off Kemp Road.

Preliminary investigations have revealed that the victim was shot multiple times. He died on the scene.

Authorities are appealing to anyone who can assist with their investigations to call the nearest police station.

Potter’s Cay Shooting

A 26-year-old man is nursing injuries after being shot early Saturday morning.
According to police, the victim was at the western end of Potter’s Cay Dock when he was shot in both legs.

He was taken to hospital, where police said he is detained in stable condition.

Columbians Arrested

Police arrested seven Columbians early Saturday for working illegally.

Officers of the Selective Enforcement Team (SET) arrested the females around 5:00 a.m. at a business establishment on West Bay Street.

Authorities said the suspects range in age from 22 years to 31 years.

Active police investigations continue in all the matters.
