A man was killed early yesterday morning in a car crash in Abaco, police have confirmed.

The accident happened on Don McKay Boulevard at 2:45 a.m.

Police said the driver of a 2004 Hyundai was travelling west and the driver of a 2001 Ford Escort was travelling east when both vehicles collided.

The driver of the Escort was pronounced dead at the scene and the driver of the Hyundai sustained minor injuries, was treated and discharged.
