Two Jamaican men who mysteriously vanished in The Bahamas may have been killed, according to the Jamaican Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to Go.Jamaica.com, ministry officials believe something went wrong on the boat that was transporting 10 Jamaicans from The Bahamas to the United States nearly two months ago.
The men had travelled to The Bahamas in late February and March.
They reportedly set out on a boat from Freeport in The Bahamas, for Miami, Florida on March 9.
However, the men’s disappearance is still being treated as a missing person report.
One of the missing men is 45-year-old Howard ‘Wayne’ Price.
According to the news report, residents in one St Andrew community where two of the men are from say they were robbed and killed at sea.
The foreign ministry says seven of the men have already been identified by family members who have come forward to file reports.
According to the official, the ministry has contacted its partners and diplomatic missions in The Bahamas, Cuba and the US in an attempt to get an official report on the incident.
