Police are still investigating the murder of a man who was recently released on bail for murder.
According to reports, shortly after 10 p.m. on Friday, police received a report that a man had been shot in the area Nassau Street near Meadow Street.
Responding officers arrived on scene and met the lifeless body of a man on the ground, he was pronounced dead on the scene.
Police also confirmed that the victim was being electronically monitored.
While officials have not released his identification, The Journal understands he is Valentino Ferguson.
Police are asking the public to come forth with any information they may have in solving this latest incident.

Police are also investigating two armed robberies that took place on Friday.
In the first incident, around 4 p.m., a woman was sitting in her black 2007 Toyota Passo, vehicle licence plate number AD7279, on Dennis Court, off Sea Breeze Lane, when three males approached armed with handguns and robbed her of her cell phone and purse. The assailants then sped off in the woman’s vehicle.
In the second incident, around 11:30 p.m., a man and his female friend were sitting in his dark coloured Honda vehicle on Yamacraw Beach, when two men armed with handguns approached in a Silver Honda Accord and robbed him of his vehicle before speeding off.
Police also cracked down on motor vehicle infractions as 170 drivers were ticketed and three people were arrested during a police operation this weekend
The island-wide operation targeted wanted persons and drivers who were in breach of the rules of the road.
A total of 170 drivers were ticketed for various violations and three persons were arrested for outstanding court warrants.
Police wish to reassure members of the public that they are utilizing all resources to ensure that individuals who continue to be engaged in criminal activities are arrested and brought to justice.
