Police are appealing to the public for help in capturing two suspects responsible for a shooting incident that has left three persons nursing wounds in hospital on Sunday.
Reports are that around 10:00 a.m., a group of men were involved in an altercation on Windsor Lane that led to three of them being shot.
The victims were transported to hospital, where they are detained in stable condition.
The first suspect is 20-year-old Rolie Anthony Henfield, otherwise called “Babloo” of Windsor Lane.
Henfield is a dark male of a slim build about 5’ 5” to 5’ 6” tall.
The second suspect is 44-year-old Tony Austin Maycock, otherwise called “Fats” of Windsor Lane.
Maycock is a dark male of a slim build about 5’ 5” to 5’ 7” tall.
These men are considered to be armed and dangerous.
Police advised the public not to approach them, instead, contact police immediately with any information.
Police also wishes to remind members of the public that it is a criminal offence to harbor these individuals, and persons providing a safe haven for these criminals will be prosecuted.
Police also have six persons in custody assisting police in connection with several shooting incidents that occurred over the weekend that has left five people in hospital.
In the first incident, shortly after 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, a man was walking on Second Street, Coconut Grove, when a man armed with a handgun approached and shot him before fleeing on foot.
The victim was taken to hospital where he is detained in stable condition.
Then shortly after 10:00 p.m., a woman was leaving social event in her vehicle on Polhemus Street, when the occupants of a dark coloured two-door Honda car pulled up and shot her before speeding off.
The victim was taken to hospital where she is detained in stable condition.
Two police later arrested three adult males, two adult females and a juvenile female in connection with this incident.
Investigations are ongoing in both incidents.
