A 22-year-old Hospital Lane man who was shot and killed in the Westridge Shopping Centre more than a week ago has been identified as Jerome Davis.
On July 7 crime scene investigators were called to the shopping centre after receiving reports about an altercation.
A group of people got into an altercation, which later spilled into the parking lot.
Davis was later killed.
Police have questioned several people with regards to Davis’ death and plan to charge someone in court very soon.
Davis was the country’s 71st victim.
Meanwhile, the country’s 74th victim has not been identified.
On July 12, a 27-year-old man was shot and killed on Bruce Avenue, Freeport.
He died on the scene pushing Grand Bahama’s homicide count to eight.
