Police have arrested 10 suspects along with the seizure of one illegal firearm this past weekend.
According to police reports, officer found a pistol with two rounds of ammunition on Balfour Ave.
Officers arrested two male suspects who were taken into custody for this connection with this discovery.
Another eight male suspects were taken into police custody for questioning in reference to murder, stealing, assault with a deadly weapon and firearms and rugs.
Officers from the Southwestern Division also took a man into police custody after they found him with a handgun on Sunday.
Police reported that shortly after 6:00 a.m. officers visited a home in Flamingo Gardens and arrested the man after they conducted a search of his home.
During the search a .38 revolver was found.
In Grand Bahama police also uncovered a pistol on Friday.
After officers were tipped off, they went to an abandoned apartment on Emerald Drive, Coral Gardens.
During their search of the apartment they found a gold pistol with one .25 round of ammunition.
Investigation are continuing into all matters.
