On Saturday three American males were arrested after officers found dangerous drugs and ammunition in their possession.

Royal Bahamas Defense Force officers onboard the HMBS Cascarilla stopped a 40 foot vessel shortly before 5:00 p.m. in the Cat Cay area.

After a search of the boat, two 9mm pistols along with 56 rounds of ammunition were found onboard the vessel after failing to declare Bahamas Customs.

The three males were taken into custody with the vessel and were later handed over to officers in Bimini.

The men are expected to be arraigned this week in court.
